2009年12月～2010年6月にかけての160日以上に及ぶ宇宙滞在時に、国際宇宙ステーションの公式飛行記念品として持参した新領域創成科学研究科創立10周年の記念の旗の返還式で、講演が行われました。

October 14, 2010, Japanese astronaut Souichi Noguchi came to Kashiwa campus!!
When he stayed in the International Space Station (ISS) from December 2009 to June 2010, he took a flag which is 10-years anniversary of Graduate School of Frontier Science (Kashiwa campus) as Official Flight Kit (OTK). Thus the restoration ceremony had held and he had a speech.
Dr. Ueda, who is vice president of the Graduate School introduce astrobiology module including our labolatory as a frontier of space science.
